We last wrote to you on 22 May when the Fuel rate had been stable for a number of weeks so we fixed the fuel surcharge at 5.0% on all export and import traffic.
You have probably noticed petrol & diesel prices increasing at the pump over the last few weeks due to increasing oil prices as well as the government restoring some of the previously removed excise duties. (From 1st September the government added back 5 cents per litre for diesel with a further 6 cents per litre due from 31st October).
As a result of these increases unfortunately, from today, we will apply a new Fuel Surcharge of 7.0% (4-8 Sept) and this surcharge applies to Groupage, FTL, FCL, LTL and domestic shipments.
